A Sziget2018 zenei felhozataláról eddig nem érkezett hír. Most azonban egyből majd’ 40 zenekar zuhant le a Nagyszínpadra, az A38 színpadra és az Arénába. Köztük napjaink egyik legmenőbb rappere, Kendrick Lamar.
Alighogy megírtuk, hogy a Sziget bezsebelt még egy díjat, máris olyan nevekkel árasztanak el minket, hogy csak nézünk! A legjobb zenei felhozataláért járó elismerést vehették át a Sziget vezetői.
Kendrick Lamar mellett velünk csapatja az egyik legsikeresebb deep house/tropical house producer, Kygo, a folkosabb irányból az alteresebb rock felé forduló sztárzenekar, a Mumford & Sons. Sőt, a szókimondó rock-fenegyerek, Liam Gallagher és még sokan mások.
Bár az előző évekhez képest később rukkoltunk elő az első nevekkel, azt reméljük, hogy mindenkit kárpótol ez a csomag. Ez egyébként már most a Sziget történetének egyik legizgalmasabb zenei felhozatalú fesztiválját ígéri
– kezdte a bejelentést Kádár Tamás, a Sziget főszervezője.
A Sziget2018 valóban kitett magáért, és már most három aktuális világsztár foglal helyet a Nagyszínpad headliner sorában.
Reményeink szerint már a jövő héten, majd folyamatosan érkeznek további nagyszínpados headlinerek is és egyéb izgalmas nevek
– tette hozzá sejtelmesen.
Kádár azt is elmondta, hogy miután az egyik előadó miatt csúszott a bejelentés, az early bird kedvezményes időszakot meghosszabbították. Ennek értelmében január 31-ig vásárolhatjuk a legolcsóbb jegyet, immár a felhozatal egy fontos részének ismeretében.
De nézzük a mostani adagot!
A Nagyszínpad headliner sorába érkezik Kendrick Lamar, az elmúlt évek legfelkapottabb és legtöbbet dicsért rappere. A 2012-es good kid, m.A.A.d city és a 2015-ös To Pimp A Butterly is óriási kritikai és kasszasiker lett. Utóbbi számos magazinnál az év albumaként futott be, Lamar több Grammy-díjat is elvihetett érte. 2017-ben landolt a boltokban a D.A.M.N., ami egyből listavezető lett az amerikai Billboard 200-as listán.
Szintén a nagyszínpados főműsoridőbe készül Kygo. A norvég Dj idén novemberben jelentette meg legújabb lemezét, a Kids in Love-ot, melynek turnéjával érkezik Budapestre. Rögtön első albumukkal megnyerték a Legjobb Új Előadónak járó Grammy-díjat. Második albumuk után világ egyik legjobb zenekaraként töltöttek meg arénákat és kerültek fesztiválok főműsoridejébe.
Ők a Marcus Mumford vezette folkos és alternatív rock zenével operáló Mumford & Sons, akik szintén a Sziget Nagyszínpadának főműsoridős sorába igyekeznek. A Nagyszínpadon lép még föl, de korábbi sávokban a legendás Oasis egykori frontembere, Liam Gallagher.
A színpadokon mindig nagyot teljesítő Bastille, az indie pop és az elektronikus zene egyedülálló egyvelegével hódító Lykke Li. Az electro swing alapköve, a Parov Stelar, brit indie gitárrock banda, The Kooks. Sőt, az aranyhangú dán szőkeség, MØ, a klasszikus ’70-es évekbeli rockzenét megidéző Kaleo. És a nagyszínpad közönségét már többször megtáncoltató Gogol Bordello is fellép.
Tavalyi elmaradt koncertjét pótolja a Clean Bandit, jön a “szégyentelenül slágeres dalokat” előadó Blossoms.
És az elektronikával gazdagon fűszerezett folk rock szcéna egyik legismertebb bandája, a Milky Chance.
Az A38 színpadára érkezik a fiatal, szép és rendkívül tehetséges Zara Larsson, a kiváló londoni alternatív rock zenekar, a Wolf Alice. Ellátogat hozzánk a svéd elektro színtér egyik legizgalmasabb jelensége, a Little Dragon, az elképesztő ambient popzenéjéről elhíresült világsztár, a Cigarettes After Sex is.
Itt lesz a szakmában régi motorosnak számító buffalói rock trio, a Goo Goo Dolls, a nagyszerű brit dalszerző-előadó, Fink, aki már-már hazajár hozzánk. A virtuóz blues és slide gitáros nagypapa, Seasick Steve is meglep minket.
Az A38 megasátorba lép majd fel az idei Szigeten még – mások mellett – a Nothing But Thieves, a Slaves, az Everything Everything is. Sőt, Lewis Capaldi, a Lemaitre, a La Femme, Alle Farben, Joe Goddard live. Azt pedig már csak hangtalanul jegyezzük meg, hogy a WhoMadeWho, a Shame, valamint a francia elektronikus zenész, Perturbator is a Szigeten lesz.
Az Arénába jelentkezett már néhány fellépő. Ők az Above & Beyond, Ummet Ozcan, Sam Feldt, Jay Hardway és a The Him, az Amszterdamból érkező Dj duo.
